Deputy Honored as ACA Corrections Officer
Congratulations to Deputy Olugbenga Shomade, he is following the footsteps of his Work Release co-workers and supervisors and setting a trend in the process.

In May, Deputy Shomade passed the ACA Corrections Officer Exam. With this accomplishment, Shomade became the first driver to obtain this status and the fourth Work Release employee to receive ACA certification.

Neustrom Youth Golf Tournament Set for July

Tuesday, July 1, 2003

Sheriff Michael W. Neustrom and the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office have rescheduled their free youth golf tournament for Monday and Tuesday morning July 28 & 29, 2003 at Hebert Municipal Golf Course. Golfers who registered for the tournament in June will automatically be registered for this tournament. Golfers who did not previously register can pick up registration forms at the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office at 316 W. Main Street or by calling 236-5614. This free youth event is conducted in partnership with all sponsors and participants of the Sheriff Neustrom Open. For additional information please call 236-5614 or 232-9211.
