Deputy Honored as ACA Corrections Officer
Congratulations to Deputy Olugbenga Shomade, he is following the footsteps of his Work Release co-workers and supervisors and setting a trend in the process.

In May, Deputy Shomade passed the ACA Corrections Officer Exam. With this accomplishment, Shomade became the first driver to obtain this status and the fourth Work Release employee to receive ACA certification.

Sheriff Michael W. Neustrom and the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office would like to recognize outstanding Deputies at our quarterly award ceremony that will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. Please join us at the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office located at 316 W. Main Street. Three Deputies representing the Administrative, Enforcement and Corrections Divisions will be honored for outstanding service.
