Detectives Arrest Alexander for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender

Sheriff Michael W. Neustrom advises that Detectives with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office have arrested 32-year-old Eric Joseph Alexander, HWY 93, Scott, LA for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. (RS 15:542) Lafayette Detectives determined that Alexander was not current with registration requirements and was not residing at the address of record. Further investigation revealed that Alexander had established residency at another location in Lafayette Parish and that he planned to flee after learning that the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office had located his current residence. Detectives made the arrest and booked Alexander into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center Tuesday evening.
