Warrant obtained for Murder suspect

Thursday, January 15, 2004

Detectives with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office obtained a warrant for 1st Degree Murder for 35 year-old Rodney Tolliver in connection with the April 14, 1985 death of Yolanda Theriot. Mr. Tolliver is presently being held in the Harrison County Jail in Houston, Texas, he has waived extradition and is expected to return to Lafayette to be formally charged within the next week.
