We would like to thank you for your support of our school (SEAS - Special Education Alternative Site). By allowing your Inmate Work Crews to come and help beautify our campus, you have shown that the community really cares about our school. Calcasieu Sheriff's Office Honors Lafayette Deputies

Thursday, January 22, 2004

Sheriff Michael W. Neustrom welcomed Dorothy Leger, Major Jerry Bell, and Lt. Colonel Norris Benoit of the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office to Lafayette earlier this week. The Calcasieu Sheriff's Office has successfully completed their onsite visit by CALEA in order to achieve accreditation, and the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office was happy to lend a hand with their preparation. LPSO Deputies Randy Mata, Cindy Carriere and Cindy Rivette were given plaques from the Calcasieu Sheriff's Office for their assistance. Lt. Colonel Benoit and Sheriff Neustrom agreed that this cooperation between agencies is a great example of Law Enforcement working together in order to provide the highest quality of public safety for the community.
