National Corrections Supervisor Awarded
Congratulation to Sgt. Armen Alexandrian who has been certified as a national corrections supervisor. Alexandrian passed a written test in August at the American Correctional Association (ACA) Convention in August. Alexandrian is one of three nationally certified supervisors in the Lafayette Parish Corrections Division.

Food Net Board of Directors Appreciates LPSO Assis

Dear Mike, On behalf of the Board of Directors of Foodnet and the thousands of less-fortunate people who benefit from our food bank, I want to express our gratitude to you and the Department for the major role that you played in our annual Christmas Food Drive. The Twenty-Third annual KLFY-TV-10/Foodnet “Food for Families” food drive was a great success – one of our best. We finished with a total of seventy-four tons of food. Our success could not have been realized without your co-operation and the assistance of the Trustees. The courtesy and co-operation of my friend, Albert Glaude. HELP SUPPORT YOUTH ACTIVITIES!

Tournament planners are currently seeking sponsors for the 2004 Sheriff Neustrom Open, which is scheduled for Monday, May 3, 2004 at Hebert Municipal Golf Course. Corporate Sponsorships are a great buy at only $750.00. A corporate sponsorship will enter one team in the Tournament (includes golf & cart as well as a golf shirt, hat, golf balls, drinks, and a great lunch for each player) and will place your name or your company's name on the Corporate Board in the Clubhouse at all three events. Tee Box Sponsorships are available for only $150.00. A Tee Box sponsorship will place your name or your company's name on the Tee Box at all three events--- a great way to show your support for youth programs in Lafayette Parish.
