Free Gunlocks Available At Lafayette Sheriff's Community Training Center

Tuesday, March 30, 2004

Sheriff Mike Neustrom announces that the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, in partnership with Project Child Safe, will distribute free gunlocks to Lafayette Parish residents at the Sheriff's Community Training Center located at 111 South St Antoine Street in Lafayette. Upon request, one gunlock per household will be distributed during the hours of 8:00 AM until 6:30 PM Monday through Thursday, and Friday from 8:00AM until 4:00 PM. Gunlocks will also be distributed to participants of our Civilian Firearms Class that is scheduled for May 19, 20 & 22, 2004. For additional information about the gunlocks, or to register for this free Civilian Firearms Class, please call the Lafayette Sheriff's Community Training Center at 236-5607.
