Sheriff's Reserve Deputies Make Drug Bust

On Sunday May 19, 2002 Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office Reserve Deputies responded to a 911 hang up call at 106 Kelly Drive in Lafayette. Upon Deputies arrival they determined the circumstances surrounding the call were very suspicious, therefore an in-depth investigation began resulting in the seizure of 115lbs of Marijuana valued at $276,104.00, over 1 Kilo of Cocaine valued at $100,000.00 and 600 pills of Lortab valued at $6,000.00. Arrested in the incident was 32-year-old Andrus Montreal Faulk of St. Martinville, who was charged with Possession with intent to Distribute Cocaine, Possession with intent to Distribute Marijuana and Possession with intent to Distribute Schedule III Narcotics.
