It is the policy of the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office to cooperate fully and impartially with authorized news media representatives in their efforts to gather factual public information pertaining to Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office activities, as long as these efforts do not violate the law, infringe upon individual rights, or unduly interfere with the office's operation.
