Law Enforcement The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office is dedicated to providing the highest quality law enforcement service in order to enhance community safety, to protect life and property, and to reduce crime. This goal will be accomplished through a mutually cooperative relationship between the Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement agencies throughout the Parish, and the community it serves. By working together, we can maintain the peace and provide safety and security for the citizens of Lafayette Parish.
