Sgt Savoy & Inmate Workers Assist SEAS
Sgt Tony Savoy
We would like to thank you for your support of our school (SEAS - Special Education Alternative Site). By allowing your Inmate Work Crews to come and help beautify our campus, you have shown that the community really cares about our school. We appreciate all the hard work you put in to help with the upkeep of our school facility. Thanks!

Sheriff's Scholarship Available for Lafayette Parish Students

The Louisiana Sheriffs' Scholarship Program for Lafayette Parish will be awarded by Sheriff Mike Neustrom. It will provide assistance to worthy Louisiana students in furthering their education and training with resources made available through the Louisiana Sheriffs' Honorary Membership Program and Sheriff Neustrom.

Sheriff Neustrom states 'This Scholarship Program is a meaningful expression of respect for education. It demonstrates confidence in Louisiana's youth, our future leaders."

Two Scholarships of a maximum of $500 each will be awarded to graduating high school students of Lafayette parish.
There are no restrictions on the purposes for which scholarships are spent. The scholarships are not loans and will be awarded as gifts to defray the rising costs of tuition and related expenses in higher education. The only limitations are that applicants be permanent residents of Louisiana; scholarships be utilized in higher education within the state of Louisiana; and students be enrolled as full-time, undergraduate students.

Completed applications must be submitted to the Lafayette Parish Sheriffs Office, located at 316 West Main Street, Lafayette, Louisiana 70502 by April 3rd. Applications can be obtained at your local High School or online Sheriff's Scholarship Program Application.

Applicants must be eligible for admission to the school indicated on the application. The award will only be paid for attendance at institutions of higher learning within the state.
