The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, Records Department provides many services for the citizens of Lafayette Parish from Accident and Incident reports to Fingerprinting and Local Records Checks. As identified from the directional photo, the Records department is located at 316 West Main Street within the main building of the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office (337) 236-5845.


Hours of operation: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday thru Friday
(Except Holidays)

Hours of operation for Finger Printing: 8:00AM - 4:30PM Tuesday thru Friday

Proper identification is required for all service requests, including proof of residency.

Cash is required for payment of fees.
