20 Year Service Award Recipient
Congratulations to Deputy Mark Brasseaux for 20 years of dedicated service to LPSO and the Citizens of Lafayette Parish.

Deputy Brasseaux is a detective within Criminal Investigation Division.

Junior Achievement Appreciates LPSO Volunteers
Dear Sheriff Neustrom,
Junior Achievement of Acadiana gratefully acknowledges the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office's generous support of economic education programs at Ernest Gallet Elementary School. Last year the departure of Ocean Energy employees greatly impacted the number of volunteers who supported the program at Gallet. Fortunately, when we called upon Donna Delahoussaye she responded by helping to recruit volunteers from the Sheriff's Office... Junior Achievement applauds the efforts of the staff at the Sheriff's Office for taking an active approach to forming a powerful partnership that enriches the educational experience for the students at Ernest Gallet and other schools in the parish.
Sincerely, Michele Boustany, Education Manager

Sex Offender Registry

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office maintains a Sex Offender Registry in accordance with LA RS 15:542. We have added a Sex Offender Registry to this website in order to provide an additional opportunity for the community to maintain awareness of sex offenders who live in their neighborhood. The registry may be searched by name, city or address. We encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to subscribe to receive a free email notification when a sex offender registers with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office and lists his/her home address as being within one mile of the address that you have entered on your subscription. This is a free service!

Individuals listed on this registry have been convicted of a sexual offense that requires them to meet a number of mandates including annual registration with law enforcement. This registry is updated daily and is designed to increase community safety and awareness. Please visit other areas of this website to receive additional family safety tips.

If you have any questions about this registry,
please call (337) 236-5871 or email us at
Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office info email.
