Lafayette Metro Narcotics Task Force The Lafayette Metro Narcotics Task Force is a partnership between the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office and the Lafayette City Police Department. The task force includes investigators from both agencies, along with personnel from the Louisiana National Guard's Counter Drug Program who respond to and investigate complaints of drug related activity throughout Lafayette Parish. A committee comprised of the Sheriff, Lafayette Chief of Police, and several members of each agency oversee task force operations. The Lafayette Metro Narcotics Agency is dedicated to making Lafayette Parish safer by working to remove illegal narcotics activity from our community.
