2 Inmates Escape from Parish Jail

At approximately 136 AM two Lafayette Parish inmates overpowered a deputies and escaped from the parish jail.

 

The escapees were identified as:

 

Kevin Gildhouse W/M 12-21- 1989 6' tall 170 pounds currently has a goatee  Being held for First Degree Murder Armed Robbery last seen wearing sheriff's uniform

 

Tony Johnson B/M 05-08-1982 5'9" 180 pounds Hold for extradition Florida Armed Carjacking w/firearm, Armed Robbery Lafayette Parish Hold for St Martin Armed Robbery.  Last seen wearing a black and white inmate jumpsuit.

 

Mode of travel is unknown.

 

Both inmates are considered dangerous.   Any one with information should contact Lafayette Crime Stoppers
