One burglary suspect captured one sought

Shortly after the posting of this information, a tip was received via Crimestoppers concerning Albanese's location, deputies responded and found him hiding in a residence in the 600 block of Deerpark Trail in Milton.
Albanese is currently being booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of two men reaching into an unoccupied car with the window partially down and removing a ladies wallet and other items in 100 block of Haricot Milton area around 8 PM on Monday January 23, 2012. Deputies were provided a physical and clothing description on the two suspects who were still in the area seen leaving on foot by witnesses. Deputies located and recognized Jacob Colton from the witness description, Colton admitted to his presence at the time of the burglary and was identified by the victim and witnesses to the crime, and he was taken to the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center where he was charged with one count of vehicle burglary by Patrol Deputies.
An ensuing investigation revealed that the second suspect was Koby Albanese 24 years old from the Milton area, Albanese is already wanted for Second Degree Battery for an unrelated incident and deputies intend to charge him with burglary of an automobile upon his capture. Albanese is believed to be in the Milton Community.Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
