Kenry J. Lewis arrest

Sheriff Michael W. Neustrom advises that the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in the Tiffany Ulmer case. Kenry J. Lewis, 36 years of age, of the 600th block of Austin Road in Lafayette Parish was arrested by the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office at his job site in Vermilion Parish Wednesday afternoon, on a warrant for 1st Degree Murder, Simple Arson, Aggravated Kidnapping, and Carjacking. Detectives with the Criminal Investigative Division of the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, assisted by several law enforcement agencies, have been investigating circumstances surrounding Ms. Ulmer’s disappearance since Friday, September 28, 2001. Detectives forwarded the findings of their investigation to the 15th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, and a warrant was issued.
