Home invasion Kentucky Lane

Investigators with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office are seeking to identify 2 men who forced their way into a home in the 100 block of Kentucky Lane in Lafayette Parish sometime after 10:30 pm Tuesday night. The residence was occupied by a 14 year old male who was held at gun point no injuries were reported and a safe was stolen from the residence. The suspects are described as 2 black males wearing dark clothing and bandannas both are approximately 6 feet tall with medium builds. The suspects parked their vehicle on an adjacent street where surveillance cameras from a residence captured images of their vehicle.
The vehicle pictured in these images is believed to be the “get away car” it is a Chevrolet or GMC SUV either pewter or gray in color investigators believe it to be an early to mid 2000 year model vehicle.
