Tuesday, July 16, 2013

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office proudly announces that Andrea Frank has been selected as the July winner of the Challenge Coin Award. This award recognizes Corrections employees who, through their work ethic and actions, personify the attributes of leadership, creativity, honor and innovation. Andrea works as a clerk in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center’s Intake area. The award is unique in that every new winner is selected by the current winner, making it truly a peer-to-peer award.

Andrea was nominated by Allison Jones the prior winner. In her nomination letter, Allison wrote, “I select Andrea Frank to be the next recipient of the challenge coin. I have had the opportunity to work with Mrs. Frank in the Intake area of the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center, and it is this experience that influenced my decision to choose her. Mrs. Frank is very dedicated to her job, and will do whatever it takes to get the job at hand accomplished. She has a positive attitude each and every day. She is dependable and always willing to be a team player. She works efficiently, never complaining and going the extra mile to give her assistance to the Deputies working the intake area. She is my ideal choice for the Challenge Coin.”

The Challenge Coin Award process now stipulates that Andrea identify and nominate the next award winner. Congratulations Andrea Frank on being recognized for a job well done!
