Deputy Stacy Provost Latest Challenge Coin Recipient

Tuesday, July 7, 2015

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office proudly announces that Deputy Stacy Provost, a security deputy in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center, has been selected as the June winner of the Challenge Coin Award. This award recognizes Corrections employees who, through their work ethic and actions, personify the attributes of leadership, creativity, honor, and innovation. The award is unique in that every new winner is selected by the current winner making it truly a peer-to-peer award.

Stacy was nominated by the previous winner, Deputy Edward Cormier. In Deputy Cormier’s nomination letter, he wrote, “Deputy Provost is a hard worker with a very good work ethic. She has a great personality and is always a “team player”. Deputy Provost goes above and beyond her call of duties to help others without complaining.”

The Challenge Coin Award process now stipulates that Stacy identify and nominate the next award winner. Congratulations to Deputy Provost on being recognized for a job well done!
