Deputies Investigate Pedestrian Death

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Fatality traffic accident involving a pedestrian, which occurred on Tuesday November 19, 2002 at approximately 5:50pm on Leblanc Road near it’s intersection with Petie Road. The preliminary investigation indicates that a 1989 Jeep Cherokee driven by a 52 year-old female Sally Everet was traveling north on Leblanc Road when it stuck 46 year-old Dianne Al Pough who was working on the roadway with a company contracted to pick up debris. After being struck Dianne Al Pougho’s body was then thrown into a coworker 24 year-old Joselyn Demetrius. Dianne Al Pough’s injuries were fatal; Joselyn Demetrius suffered only minor injuries and was taken to a hospital. Driver of the vehicle Sally Everet is being charged with Vehicular Homicide, the investigation of the accident is continuing.
