LPSO Employees Donate Toys and Gifts to Faith House
Thursday, December 19, 2013
The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office, including Sheriff Mike Neustrom, filled a conference room table with lots of toys donated by deputies and employees for Faith House. This is the 13th year that Sheriff’s Office employees have donated toys and other gifts to the women and children of Faith House.
“Faith House provides a critical and needed service to families of the area. Being able to provide a little holiday cheer to the women and children at Faith House is something that I, as well as all of the deputies and the other employees who donated, are very proud of,” said Sheriff Neustrom.
Donations this year included a variety of toys including trucks, dolls, board games and many stuffed animals. Clothing and personal items were donated for the mothers. Faith House provides a safety sanctuary for victims of domestic violence.
