Deputy Lisa Sampe Awarded Challenge Coin Award

Tuesday, January 20, 2015

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office proudly announces that Deputy Lisa Sampe, a Field Training Officer with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office, has been selected as the latest winner of the Challenge Coin Award. This award recognizes Corrections employees who, through their work ethic and actions, personify the attributes of leadership, creativity, honor, and innovation. The award is unique in that every new winner is selected by the current winner, making it truly a peer-to-peer award.

Lisa was nominated by the previous winner, Deputy Brian Guillory. In Deputy Guillory’s nomination letter, he wrote, “She is a highly motivated worker and makes sure she does her best in everything she does.  Lisa proudly represents the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office almost daily when she works off duty security after she completes her scheduled shifts proving that she is a diligent worker".

The Challenge Coin Award process now stipulates that Lisa identify and nominate the next award winner. Congratulations Lisa on being recognized for a job well done!
