LPSO Free Youth Summer Camp Dates Set for June

From June 4th thru July 13th, The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office will hold its annual Leadership and Resiliency Summer Camp. Sessions are divided between middle and high school students. The Middle School Camp will run from June 4th - 8th, June 25th- 29th and July 9th -13th and is open to incoming 7th and 8th grade students in Lafayette Parish. The High School Camp begins on June 11th and runs through June 22nd and is open to any student attending a Lafayette Parish high school in the fall. Attendance is limited to 60 students per camp and registration is first come first serve.  Registration forms can be completed on the Sheriff’s website at www.lafayettesheriff.com.

In addition to guest speakers, crafts, and activities, students will also participate in field trips which include visits to a movie theater, bowling alley, rock climbing walls, and more.  All field trips, transportation to and from activities, and meals are provided free of charge.
