Offenders Gain New HiSET High School Equivalency Degrees.
Tuesday, May 27, 2014
Proud to announce that ten LPSO Reentry Program offenders successfully complete the new HiSET high-school equivalency test. Hi-SET graduates gain a high school graduation equivalency credential. The new HiSET test which replaced our GED program test earlier this year is more in line with Common Core standards, and makes the graduate better prepared to enter a post high school education program. Pictured here from right to left are: Back row, Angel Mouton, Education Department Instructor, John Sion, Lonnie Poydras, Fredrick Morgan, and Jed Hebert, Education Department Instructor. Front Row, Aaron Papillion, Jalen Walker, and Brandon Girard. We congratulate all of the graduates.
