The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office Web Tax Site offers the community the capability to view and/or pay their taxes online. For a nominal fee you can pay your taxes with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Debit or Credit cards ($3.95 flat rate for Personal Visa Debit Cards, 2.75% all other credit & debit cards, $2.00 minimum on all transactions applied). Notice: “The online registration deadline for the annual City/Parish of Lafayette property tax sale has been extended until 12 noon Tuesday May 31st, 2016”
Annual City/Parish online delinquent property tax sale is set for June 1st, 2016 beginning at 9am thru June 2nd, 2016 ending at 12noon. Registration is set for May 23rd, 2016 beginning at 9am thru May 25th, 2016 ending at 12noon. To register please refer to our FAQ section for the registration link or you may contact Deputy Glenda Prejean or Deputy Ashley Guilbeau at 337-236-5880 for registration assistance. The first tax sale advertisement will run in the local paper May 1st, 2016 and the second tax sale advertisement will run in the local paper May 15th, 2016.
